IT ALL STARTED WITH A PUP…
Living in Manhattan, I never imagined myself owning a dog—until one unforgettable day on Lexington Avenue. As I strolled past a pet store, my eyes locked with those of a baby French Bulldog sitting in the window. There was something irresistible in that moment, an unspoken connection that pulled me inside and changed my life forever. Little did I know, I had just found my soul mate, my inspiration and creative muse.

Tracy Rosensteel has dedicated over 25 years to a distinguished career on Wall Street, working with global capital markets clients and specializing in mission-critical trading floor technology. Yet, her greatest fulfillment comes from her creative pursuits, where her passion and innovation truly shine.
In 2020, Tracy launched Pooch Paper, a venture inspired by her deep love for animals and the planet. Growing up as a dedicated catch-and-release fly-fisherwoman, she cultivated a profound respect for nature and a commitment to preserving its beauty.
As the creator, director, producer and host of the award-winning travel television series, In Pursuit of Passion, Tracy captures the inspiring stories of individuals around the globe pursuing their dreams. The series, which debuted on PBS and now streams on Amazon, reflects her belief in the transformative power of passion and purpose.
Driven by her love of fragrance and history, Tracy was inspired to create the HOCKLEY Collection as her personal expression of how a scent can capture a moment and revive encounters long forgotten. The HOCKLEY name pays homage to her ancestors and their Annapolis homestead, Hockley in the Hole, honoring their legacy and sacrifices which paved the way for opportunities that continue to benefit future generations.
WHY POOCH PAPER?
Made in the USA, Pooch Paper is a patented, PFAS-free, non-chlorine bleached paper alternative to single-use plastic dog waste bags.
Our sheets are biodegradable, compostable and are manufactured using renewable energy. Our fluorochemical-free, grease-resistant coating is made when the pulp dries during the pulp drying process (without adding chemicals) to ensure your doggie’s doodie remains inside the paper and not on your hand!
Our mission is to minimize the destructive effects plastics have on our environment.
Research suggests over 500 million single-use plastic dog waste bags are thrown into landfills each year in the U.S. alone. These bags contribute to the global plastic pollution issues related to methane gas emissions and microplastic pollution.
We’re grateful for your contribution to love our planet ONE PUP AT A TIME!
